The Genesis School was founded by Marshall Emerson III, a Cleveland educator with more than 15 years of experience launching and leading high-performing schools across Northeast Ohio. Every Northeast Ohio school Marshall has opened is still open and a thriving part of the local community.

Marshall’s approach is simple: keep the standard high, lead with love, and never stop believing in the ability and resiliency of children. At Genesis, that philosophy is built into every classroom, every system, and every relationship.

From PreK through 8th grade, our curriculum is built to prepare scholars for The Genesis Academy, a college-prep high school, opening in the fall of 2027.
