Is The Genesis School free?
The Genesis School is completely free. K–8 tuition is 100% covered through either the Cleveland Scholarship (for families living within Cleveland city limits) or the EdChoice Scholarship (for families living outside Cleveland). We’ll walk you through every step of the application process.

What grades does The Genesis School enroll?
The Genesis School enrolls scholars in PreK through 8th grade for Fall 2026. We welcome the whole family under one roof! Our campus is located on W. 54th Street on Cleveland’s west side, and we serve families across Greater Cleveland and surrounding communities.
PreK spots are limited. We encourage families to reach out early to learn about availability and tuition assistance options.
Where is The Genesis School located?
The Genesis School is located at 3555 W. 54th Street, Cleveland, OH 44102. We serve scholars and families from across Greater Cleveland, including Cleveland’s west side neighborhoods, east side communities, and first-ring suburbs. Free door-to-door transportation options are available for Cleveland families, so distance is never a barrier to enrollment.

Yes. The Genesis School is now enrolling scholars in grades PreK–8 for Fall 2026. If your family has been displaced by school closures or consolidations in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD), The Genesis School offers a safe, structured, high-quality option with free tuition and free door-to-door transportation. How do I apply for an EdChoice Scholarship?

How do I enroll my scholar in PreK?
We’d love to connect with you! Please contact the enrollment line for an application and to schedule a time to meet with our admissions administrator. PreK spots are limited, so we encourage families to reach out early.

Do you accept scholars with IEPs or learning differences?
Yes, we do. The Genesis School welcomes scholars with IEPs and learning differences. Students with IEPs will be accommodated at The Genesis School. Please contact the Principal for further information and to discuss your scholar’s needs so we can ensure the right supports are in place from day one.
Is transportation available, and is it free?
Yes. There is no cost for transportation. Free door-to-door transportation is available for scholars living within Cleveland city limits through CMSD. If your family needs transportation, please contact our enrollment coordinators for additional information.
What is the uniform policy at The Genesis School?
Scholars at The Genesis School wear black pants, black shoes, and a Genesis School polo. Please see the school handbook below for full uniform details and requirements.
