We know what you’re thinking. A private school for free? It sounds too good to be true. But for most Cleveland families, The Genesis School is exactly that: a high-quality, college-prep private school education at absolutely no cost.

Here’s how it works.

The Genesis School is held to the same high standards as any private school. We provide rigorous academics, dedicated teachers, small-school culture, and a whole-child approach that develops your scholar academically and as a person. What makes us different is how families pay for it.

Ohio offers two scholarship programs that cover tuition at approved private schools like Genesis.

If you live within Cleveland city limits, your scholar likely qualifies for the Cleveland Scholarship. If you live outside of Cleveland — in Garfield Heights, Euclid, or another surrounding community — you may qualify for EdChoice, a statewide scholarship available across Ohio.

Either way, the scholarship covers the cost of tuition. The Genesis School will walk you through the application process step by step. You don’t have to figure it out on your own. If you are seeking a school for your Pre-K child, tuition assistance options for Pre-K vary. Contact us directly and we’ll help you understand what’s available for your family.

Enrollment at Genesis is open to all scholars in PreK–8. There’s no selective admissions process, no waiting to see if your child “gets in.” Every scholar is welcome.

We also offer free transportation for Cleveland families, so the cost savings go even further.

Genesis represents the beginning of the rest of your scholar’s life. We don’t want cost — or confusion about cost — to stand in the way of that.
